Andrew speaking at the Leeds International Festival of Ideas 2025

Andrew was delighted to speak specifically on the challenges facing the Hospitality Sector with Fred Sirieix at Leeds Playhouse with the event entitled ‘Who picks up the tab for a hospitable city?’
Andrew has spoken at the International Downtown Association (IDA) in San Antonia, Chicago and Winnipeg. This association supports Business Improvement Districts and Business Improvement Associations in the US and Canada
The Audio Radio Industry Awards started in Leeds back in 2017 and Andrew has spoken at this ceremony and presented awards.
During Andrew’s time as Chairman of the Charity ‘Cry in the Dark’, he spoke at various events across the UK, fundraising and advocating for the charity which helps children with special needs in Romania.
As a ‘lay preacher’ Andrew has spoken at a variety of churches across the country. He recently completed a course on Theology and has attended the Harrogate School of Theology and Mission.
Andrew has also spoken at several industry events organised by the Association of Town and City Management, British BIDs and The BID Foundation.
In 2024 with LeedsBID, he organised an event in Leeds Corn Exchange to celebrate 20 years of UK Business Improvement Districts at UKREiiF where Andrew gave a celebratory address.

Andrew was the inaugural chair of the BID foundation speaking at the launch conference in Brixton and in subsequent years.

Over the 20 years of Business Improvement Districts in the UK, Andrew has spoken at numerous ATCM and British BID events and conferences. In 2024 at the 20th Anniversary if UK BIDs, Andrew spoke at UKREiiF in the Leeds Corn Exchange for a celebratory event
